The main costs are below. Forwarding postage is charged at the published Royal Mail or courier rate, with a small handling charge per bundle. A £15 set-up and ID check applies once per named person or company officer.

Forwarding And Scanning

Handling Charges

  • Scan and email costs £1.20 per envelope opened.
  • After the first 10 scanned pages in a calendar month, scanned pages cost 18p per page.
  • Forwarding is Royal Mail or courier cost at the published rate plus a £2.75 handling charge per bundle.
  • Small parcel handling is £3.50 per parcel up to 5kg.
  • Larger parcels must be agreed before they arrive.

Postage Float

The £20 Float

A £20 postage float is required before any forwarding starts. Postage and courier costs are taken from that float. Hiway Mail asks for a top-up when it falls below £6. If the float runs out, post is held safely but not forwarded until the account is topped up.

Forwarding runs Tuesday and Thursday as standard. Daily forwarding is available for £14 per month for customers who need post moving more often.

Overseas Director Needing Scans

£42 + scans

Director service address at £42 per director per year, plus £1.20 per envelope opened. Scanned pages after the first 10 in the month cost 18p each.
